"i didn't think Messi would speak to players not at his level"
Jérémy Mathieu looked ahead to Barcelona's Champions League clash away to PSG during a press conference on Monday: "For me it's one more game. It's important, but there's no extra pressure".
"PSG have other great players, despite the injuries. Many top-level internationals. We know it's a very important game. If we win, we know it'll be a big step forward for us with six points. We'll go for the win", he added.
His performances: "My club and coach have confidence in me. I'm at Barcelona now and I'm enjoying it. I try to do my best to help the team and I'm simply playing like I did at Valencia".
The defence: "Attack is the first line of defence. When everyone does their job, it's simpler for us. We'll try to keep a clean sheet and continue in the same vein".
His relationship withMessi: "In my opinion Leo doesn't think about that injury. Messi will be on top form tomorrow. I thought he was a player who didn't speak to anyone at an inferior level to him. But no, he's a very nice guy".
Ibra's injury: "The advantage is that he's influential in PSG's game. He's a great player who can make a big difference. It's a bonus for us and it'll make things a bit more difficult for them. I wanted to play against Ibrahimovic".
